5th EU Mentoring Group

Following the positive experience from last year, APD Moldova hosted its first EU Mentoring Group of 2025, marking yet another step in strengthening Moldova’s agricultural administration through valuable exchanges with EU Member States.

This 5th mentoring group focused on “State Aid and the De Minimis Rule”, a crucial topic for the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) and the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA). The presentation aimed to enhancing the understanding of EU regulations and their applicability to Moldova’s agricultural sector.

As the key expert on the subject matter, the mentoring group benefited from the main speaker Ms. Karolina Witka-Wilczek from the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, who shared insights on Poland’s best practices, regulatory frameworks, and implementation mechanisms for state aids in agriculture.

Organized online, this virtual session fostered interactive discussions among the participants and provided practical experience, furthering the support for Moldova’s alignment with the EU acquis.
