    2nd Moldovan Agri-food Partnership Platform

    APD Moldova supported the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) of the Republic of Moldova in organizing the 2nd Agri-Food Partnership Platform on January 18, 2025, in Berlin. Held in the framework of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) and International Green Week 2025, the 2nd Agri-food Partnership Platform was hosted by the German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), Mr. Cem Özdemir.

    Lectures on the EU CAP and Food Safety at the Technical University of Moldova

    As part of APD’s activities on promoting academic cooperation, a week of lectures are planned at the Technical University in Moldova on November 4-8, 2024. The daily lectures will be opened to students at the Faculty for Agricultural, Forest and Environment Sciences and the Veterinary Medicine Faculty, as well as to staff of the Moldovan agricultural administration. The participants will benefit from the knowledge and experience of Europe’s top experts on the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and on EU Food Safety requirements: (i) Professor Stephan von Cramon-Taubadel leads the Department for Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at the University of Göttingen, and (ii) Richard Moody, is a lawyer and leading food safety expert.

    3rd EU Mentoring Group for the Moldovan Agricultural Administration

    APD organizes its third Mentoring Group, it will be focused on Poland’s experiences with Producer Groups and Organizations. This session will provide valuable insight into the crucial role of these structures in the development of modern agriculture.
