The 2^nd Policy Brief in the APD Moldova series focuses on the experiences from the EU Member States on agricultural institutions and building administrative capacities. Doing so, the policy brief focuses on the first two priority areas defined under the 5-layered recommendation structure of the 1^st policy brief.

1. Presentation of Chapter 12: Food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy – The rationale and the systems of the framework for the protection of human, animal and plant health in the EU
2. The implementation of Chapter 12 of the EU Acquis – the mechanisms, institutions and practicalities of the systems for protection of human, animal and plant health in the EU
